Student Back-To-School Checklist

As you prepare for the return to school for the 2021-2022 academic year, please be sure to complete the following:

  • Purchase school supplies

  • Download the "Parentlink" app on your smart phone by typing in "Proctor Public Schools" in the app or play store.  The app is free and is a one stop shop for all kinds of information regarding the school and students.  Announcements will be sent out using this application so you want to make sure and download it to your smart device to stay informed.

  • Review the student handbook so you are aware of all the policies and procedures associated with Proctor high school.

  • Mark your calendar for picture day which will be on Tuesday, September 5th and go to the picture day page for more information about how to order photos.

  • If you are new to PHS, plan to attend the NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION on August 31st.

  • If you are not new to PHS, plan to attend the open house session on September 1st to meet your teachers, get your Chromebook (new students), locker, schedule, and information about busing and lunch/breakfast

  • Review transportation and bus schedules for the start of the year.

    • Students who drive to school will be required to purchase a parking permit for $40 for the school year.  Permits will be sold during the first few weeks of school with seniors getting first opportunities, then juniors and sophomores.  Students must park in a legally marked parking spot in either the Blue, Gold, or Green lots.  Tickets will be issued if a pass is not displayed.

  • Set short-term and long-term goals for the school year and communicate them with your parent/guardian so they can help you achieve them.

  • Think about and plan for activities you would like to participate in.  Studies show that students who participate in activities in school are more successful and feel a stronger connection to their school community as a result.

  • Have fun and make good decisions in the remaining summer weeks.
